Yesterday, I had the incredible opportunity to be part of the live broadcast of "Züri bi de Lüüt" on SRF1, hosted in the charming town of Richterswil. Despite the typically autumnal weather – with chilly winds and rain leading up to the event – the atmosphere was electric. Luckily, just before the show began, the rain cleared, and we were ready to go live. Shortly before my interview, I had the chance to see the final cut of what we had filmed in just one day. Watching a piece of my life’s journey unfold on screen, with so many people tuning in, stirred unexpected emotions.
Curious to see how it all came together and relive the moment?
A wild mix of feelings—some of the awkwardness that comes from hearing your own voice, combined with pride in seeing my life story from a new perspective. In that moment, I realized how much of my motivation for the sport is rooted in that same feeling—a deep sense of empowerment and self-trust.
I was equally moved by the inspirational personal stories shared by people from the lake zurich region. That evening, I also learned so much about Richterswil’s fascinating traditions, like the Räbechilbi festival and the local tale of the mermaid from Hüttensee.
It was a true honor. A heartfelt thank you to Fabienne Gyr and Salar Bahrampoori for your warm and lively moderation, and to the entire SRF1 team for bringing it all together!

Anna, congratulations on this beautiful clip and interview! I hope I can join you for a one minute dive (I guess that's about my capacity) one day, just like 30 years ago. :)
